When choosing a digital camera, generally the more resolution the better. When it comes to making a Digital C-Print, you don’t need more resolution than the printer will use for any given print size. The table below is a reference guide for image size requirements for any given print size. Please note these are conservative minimum image sizes listed below, often resizing up 25% or so will result in no perceptible quality difference. If resizing up beyond 25% is necessary, we recommend using a program called Genuine Fractals before uploading. |
